VION Roof Sunshade for Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024–2026

Why Consider the VION Roof Sunshade for Model 3 Highland?

The 2024–2026 Tesla Model 3 Highland sits low to the road with two large overhead glass panels that bring abundant light into the cabin—along with significant solar heat on sunny days. Because the roof glass sits only inches above passengers' heads in a sedan, radiant heat buildup is felt quickly. The VION Roof Sunshade for Model 3 Highland (manufacturer part number VN-RS-M3Y-BTC, model VN-RS-M3Y, Amazon ASIN B0CN1PJ6ZX) provides a tailored, two-piece full-blackout barrier finished in Interior Gray to blend seamlessly with the factory headliner.

Dual-Layer Blackout Fabric and Magnetic Anti-Sag Support

Based on the product specifications for ASIN B0CN1PJ6ZX, VION combines multi-layer thermal insulation with reinforced frame geometry:

• Graphene & Reflective Silver Dual Layer: One layer incorporates a graphene-enhanced coating to reduce infrared heat transfer, while a reflective silver layer bounces direct sunlight back through the glass for near-complete blackout coverage.
• Memory-Steel Frame with Magnetic Seam: Heat-treated memory steel maintains perimeter shape, while integrated magnets help close gaps between the panels so the shade stays taut over rough pavement.
• Complete Highland Package: Includes front and rear roof sunshades with direction labels, a zippered storage pouch, and 16 mounting clips (12 standard clips and 4 specialty clips).

Compatibility and Fitment Verification

Tesla changed the roof trim and rear glass geometry when introducing the Highland refresh. Check your exact Model 3 generation before ordering part VN-RS-M3Y-BTC:

• Fits: 2024–2026 Tesla Model 3 Highland (refreshed sedan roof glass).
• Does NOT Fit 2017–2023 Pre-Highland Model 3: Older Model 3 sedans use different roof panel dimensions and clip clearances. Use our EV Accessories Finder to browse accessories matched to your exact model year.

Practical Trade-Offs and Installation Tips

• Headroom & Visibility Trade-Off: While the shade hugs the roof cavity closely with minimal headroom impact, its opaque blackout fabric completely covers the overhead glass view until you unclip it.
• Rear Window Defroster & Visibility Note: Check the rear panel coverage in your rearview mirror after clipping it in place; unlike open mesh shades, a blackout panel blocks light through the upper portion of the rear glass area it covers.
• Follow Direction Labels: Each panel includes orientation tags—verify front/rear direction before inserting the clips into the headliner seam.

Final Buying Recommendation

Best suited for: 2024–2026 Tesla Model 3 Highland drivers who prioritize maximum summer heat rejection and a factory-matched gray ceiling look over keeping a transparent view through the glass roof.
