The hood prop holder works on our honda odyssey. The quality of the holder is low. The plastic looks thin and fits loose. One tab broke on my original holder and came out of the frame. Maybe the loose fitting will hold the rod better as it spins. Hope this lasts long. The installation is simple, just slide it on to the rod and then press the holder into the frame. Overall, the holder works and it is inexpensive.

This will change your life. I was so tired of the stupid support getting messed up on our minivan. It was a pain and I just learned to live with it but I grumbled. Then I saw this little thing was available and I bought it. The car feels less like a pile of junk and more like a nice vehicle. I am very surprised by how much it has improved my life!
It slides over the strut and you kind of jam it into the hole where it goes into the metal of the car. It’s pretty easy to figure out. It would be nice if they included instructions but I didn’t feel like I was going to mess it up.
I would get this again in a hearbeat, it’s well worth the money!
I only used one of the black things and I changed the white plastic thing even though my car didn’t need it.
